Films That Changed History Symposium

March 24, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

MCC-Penn Valley is starting a new annual film symposium called Films that Changed History. This year it will take place on Penn Valley’s campus on March 24th at 1:00 p.m. The event will feature guest speakers from both MCC and UMKC, as well as a local Kansas City community advocate to discuss this year’s film, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner. The goal is to raise awareness and offer an opportunity for dialog about films that not only represent moments in our history, but have left an indelible mark on our culture.  This event is free and open to the public and we would love for your neighborhood to come and be a part of this event!

The hosts ask that those who would like to come please RSVP on the Eventbrite website so they can anticipate how much popcorn to buy! RSVP and get more information here: https://filmsthatchangedhistory.eventbrite.com
