Hyde Park Farmers Market is a volunteer-led, family-friendly neighborhood market series in Gillham Park that brings together Kansas City area growers, makers, and small businesses.
Across four 2026 Sunday dates (May 31, June 21, Sept 6, and Oct 11), market attendees can expect to find fresh, locally-grown produce, plants, flowers, baked goods, and local artisan items.
The market creates a welcoming place for neighbors to connect, support local entrepreneurs, and enjoy kid-friendly activities in a beautiful park setting. Building on the success of the 2025 Hyde Park Pop-Up Farmers Market, the 2026 series aims to strengthen community ties while celebrating Kansas City’s agriculture, arts, small business, and creative scene.

HPNA Annual Yard Sale
The 2026 Annual Hyde Park Yard Sales will be the 2nd Saturday in June. Each year there are 50+ yard sales hosted - put this on your calendar for some great shopping!
This date coincides with yard sales generally occurring throughout midtown, please check with other neighborhood associations for confirmation on their yard sale date.

HPNA is kicking off Halloween week with an all-ages storytelling event at the slabs at the Slabs in Gillham Park.
Bring your own blanket or lawn chair, and get settled in for an evening of not-so-spooky stories with professional storyteller, Will Stuck.
HPNA Hyde Park Pop-Up Farmers Market
The Hyde Park Pop-Up Farmers Market is a one-day, neighborhood-led market celebrating local growers, food artisans, and makers. Organized by the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA), the event brings together neighbors and visitors in a pedestrian-friendly park setting for fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, flowers, and crafted goods for sale.
Join for a special interactive storytime for families at 10:00 a.m.

Dumpster Day
HPNA will be sponsoring dumpsters again this year on June 28th, 2025. There will be two dumpsters at 41st and Gillham (parking lot near the playground) and two at 31st and Gillham (parking lot in front of El Torreon). At each location, one dumpster will be provided for general waste and one dumpster for yard waste (leaf/brush).
Dumpsters are reserved for HPNA members from 8am to 10am. After 10am, non-members can pay $10 per load. No dumping will be allowed after 12pm or if dumpsters fill earlier.
This year we will be cashless again. Volunteers will have QR codes at each location to collect dumping fees or renew memberships, all payments will be processed via our website. Please do not bring cash or checks for payment.
